• The Roughnecks play Spring Hill this Friday night at Roughneck Stadium at 7:30. This is a big rivalry game and We want to see everyone there to support our football team.
  • Volleyball will play tomorrow at Whitehouse starting at 5:00. Come out and support the Ladynecks!
  • Any AP Senior who would like to take the Junior English AP Exam this Spring needs to see Mrs. Pearce by this Friday, September 13.
  • Senior retakes and deposits for Senior Ads are this Friday. You need a $25 deposit for your ad.
  • Tomorrow’s theme for rival week is City vs Country. Dress code still applies but you can wear a hat with your outfit if needed.
  • If you’re a member of the fall musical, remember that the first meeting is today at 3:45 in the Choir room. Make sure to be there. Also, the first rehearsal is tomorrow at 3:45, also in the Choir room. Don’t be late!
  • Sign up for the Blood Drive in the Main Hallway.  If you are 16 you must pick up a permission form from Mrs. Taylor in room 125.
  • Don’t forget to bring your socks for the Sock Drive. We are in a competition with Spring Hill.  We don’t want to lose our Come and Take it Flag, so bring those socks!
  • There will be a TAFE meeting on Thursday, 9/12 in Mrs. Faircloth’s room at 7:30.  We will be electing officers.  Please come and be a member of TAFE.
  • Chili’s restaurant is hosting Battle of the Bands beginning today and running through Friday. This is a competition to see whether the White Oak High School Band or the Spring Hill High School Band has the most support!  All you do is eat and Chili’s this week and tell your waiter that you support the WO Band and 10% of what your spend will go to the White Oak Band Boosters!  The band with the most support gets bonus cash at the end of the week.  So go enjoy a good meal and support our great WOHS Band.
  • White Oak Band Boosters has donated Chili’s gift cards to be given to 4 students and 4 teachers to be used this week for the Battle of the Bands competition. We held the drawing this morning and the winners are:

$10 gift cards: Senior Branson Hays, Junior Samuel Garcia, Sophomore Nick Carrell, Freshman Haiden Cooper

$5 Gift Cards for teachers: Mr. Jason Brown, Mrs. Kim Taylor, Ms Leigh Ann McSwain, Coach Matthew Dyson
