• Today we will honor our veterans with a luncheon in the cafeteria at 12 pm. There will be special tables marked for veterans and they will be eating at the same time we have lunch.  Please be respectful and if you speak to any of them, please thank them for their service to our country.
  • WOHS will host the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery(ASVAB) this Wednesday, Nov. 13, from 8-11am. This is a multiple- choice test, administered by the United States Military Entrance Processing Command and is used to determine qualification for enlistment in the United States’ armed forces. All 11th grade students and 12th grade students who have signed up with Mrs. Pearce will take the exam.  All boys will take the test in the Plato Lab and girls will take the test in the Distance Learning Lab in the Library.  All students will need their chromebooks for the test.  Please charge them on Tuesday evening.
  • We want to congratulate our Roughneck Football team and our Ladyneck Volleyball team on hard fought seasons. All of you improved throughout the year and never gave up.  Our Ladynecks went 2 deep into the playoffs.  We are proud of you all.
  • Congratulations to Ryan Banks and Chloe Bates who placed 1st and 2nd in Ready Writing this weekend at Whitehouse. They competed against 19 writers.  We are so proud of you both!
  • Our FFA students will compete in District LDE contest tomorrow at Longview. We wish them the best of luck!
  • There will be a TAFE meeting in Mrs. Faircloth’s room on Thursday, 11/14/19 at 7:30.  Please come and be a part of TAFE.
  • Come experience the FUN…and the MAGIC as the Theatre and Choir Department’s production of G2K Cinderella opens this Thursday night at 7 o’clock. The musical will also run on Saturday and Sunday, with those matinee performances beginning at 2pm. Admission is $5 for Students and $7 for adults.  Doors open 30 minutes before curtain time.
