• Congratulations to all 4 basketball teams and their coaches for defeating Harmony Friday night. The games were great and you all did a fantastic job.  Mojoes came out in force Friday night and I appreciate your behavior, participation and for cleaning up at the end.  Very proud of you all!
  • Roughneck Debate competed at SFA on Friday. Robert Early placed 6th in LD. Sam McGrew and Payton Palmer placed second in CX Debate. Our CX Debaters will compete in UIL District here at White Oak on Wednesday this week.
  • Congratulations to our UIL Prose/Poetry team for a great day at SFA on Friday. Katelyn Jester won 1st Place in Prose Interpretation, while Mya Thomas took 1st Place in Poetry. Kim Ramos won 5th Place, also in Poetry. Well done to the entire team!
  • Sign up sheets to try out for Cheerleader or Mascot for the 2020-2021 school year are in Mrs. Frazier’s office. You must sign up by this Friday if you plan to try out.
  • Wednesday is a half day for students with professional development for teachers Wednesday afternoon. We will be on regular schedule and go to periods 1 – 5. School will be dismissed at noon for students and buses will run.  Because of CX Competition, we will not ring bells or have announcements on Wednesday.
  • Juniors need to meet with Mrs. Deck and Mrs. Pearce in the lecture hall during enrichment today. All junior go to roll check at your normal enrichment class and then go directly to the lecture hall.
  • This Saturday White Oak will host our first ever Texas HS BBQ Association Regional Competition. This is sponsored by our culinary department.  There are 32 teams scheduled to compete, and we wish good luck to our WOHS team.
