- Congratulations to Mr. Steele and Jordan Steele for placing 2nd Chair at Area to make the Texas ATSSB All State Band. Jordan will perform with the All State Band on Saturday, February 15, at the Convention Center in San Antonio. This is Jordan’s 2nd time to be in the All State Band.

- Congratulations to Simi Millwood on placing 3rd in Calculator at the Pine Tree meet.
- There will be a track team meeting today. The meeting will be in the meeting room at the field house after school.
- Sign-ups for golf are still available through today. If you are interested in playing golf, please sign up on the sheet in Mrs. Frazier’s office.
- We are having our blood drive this today in the Plato Lab. Be sure you have picked up your pass from Mrs. Frazier’s office.
- Students who are competing in VASE will have a mandatory meeting during enrichment Tuesday, January 14.
- There will be no college History class today. You will need to attend college History tomorrow with the other section.
- Our cheerleaders will compete this Thursday, January 16 in the UIL State Cheer Competition at the Fort Worth Convention Center. We will do a send off for the team on Wednesday. Students who wish to attend in support, must come by the office today to discuss steps to receive an excused absence for attendance.
